Our Client has developed a check-in and ordering kiosk for use in stores. The kiosk is built on new technology to their environment. The Kiosk Technical Operations Specialist will be responsible for the design and execution of ongoing support and maintenance capabilities for this new technology in the environment. The role will have a heavy focus on operations and enabling the kiosks to have a smooth rollout and ongoing operations in the store.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Participate as part of a team building out new operational procedures, processes and capabilities for the kiosks
- Run the operational tasks to ensure the kiosk program is able to roll out effectively to the first set of stores
- Assist in the creation of a suite of proactive monitoring tools to ensure uptime of kiosks
- Create and manage the updating of dashboards and metrics related to the overall health of the kiosks
- Assist in creating processes for ongoing support teams to follow
- Work with help desk team members on the troubleshooting tasks that need to be used to assist stores in working with kiosk issues
Minimum Qualifications/Background Desired:
- 3+ years of experience with operating systems and hardware integration
- Experience with scripting languages
- Knowledge of Windows and Chrome OS platforms
- Understanding of data analysis
- Demonstrated problem solving capabilities
- Background in QA (software or hardware) desirable
