Job Title: Director of Marketing & Communications
Responsibilities
Design and develop communication materials including but not limited to: collateral in print and digital formats, videos, written and video testimonials, proposal templates, misc. copywriting
Develop the strategy for and manage internal and external communications
Write and distribute press releases on breaking news as well as other PR efforts
Write and edit client newsletters, regular client emails, special email campaigns, etc.; measure and track results of those efforts
Manage external partnerships - handle projects with 3rd-party marketing partners and outside agencies
Work closely with the Director of Digital & Social Media to strategize and set goals for the marketing function
Serve as leader of the Marketing & Communications department
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong content creation/writing skills
Basic graphic design and/or design skills to assist with flyers, landing pages, etc.
Experience managing a small team preferred
Vendor management experience highly preferred
PR background required
Demonstrated ability to garner media attention
Professional, tenacious, energetic, and comfortable working alone and as a member of a team
Thrives in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects
