Product Development Team Lead
Responsibilities:
This position is part of a larger team developing complete lighting systems or a control module, also engaging engineers from mechanical, CAE, manufacturing or testing departments. These teams can be spread out over our development locations in the Czech Republic, Germany, US or India.
- Responsible for the technical coordination of the development of Control Units or LED Electronics from quotation to serial production to meet timing, performance, cost and quality requirements. Leading a team of engineers within one or more projects.
- Technical interface to the Customer for all electrical matters, Requirements Management and coordination of quality planning.
- Responsible for system engineering
- Support of the account team to meet cost and price targets
- Presentation of results to the customer and negotiating solutions
- Technical management of suppliers (EMS)
- Compliance to and maintenance of internal processes per automotive standards. Assure process compliance within the project team.
Education:
- Minimum B.S. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required. Preferably Master’s Level degree.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience within electrical development in a similar automotive sector with good knowledge of automotive electronics processes.
- Very good work and self-organization
- Distinct awareness of price and cost impacts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and handle multiple priorities
