5 YEAR VIDEO EDITOR
Jackson Spalding seeks a creative video editor with approximately five years of experience. This position will work on diverse projects including content marketing, product demonstration, corporate and documentary-style work.
At times, the candidate will contribute in a producer role, will also assist with other duties including scheduling, project management, logistics, client review and other activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
- Approximately 5 years professional editing experience, including motion some graphics work.
- Experience with Final Cut Pro X, Apple Motion and After Effects is preferred.
- Prior experience with creative process and professional workflow is preferred.
- Basic understanding of video and audio production (camera equipment and lighting).
- Comfortable with project management platforms such as Slack, Basecamp, Microsoft Excel and Word and other time/project management platforms.
- Client centric and courteous under pressure.
- Open to constructive feedback.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to Jackson Spalding creative process and work in a team environment.
- Working from creative brief and concept guides, use video, audio, graphics and other audio/visual assets to create multiple drafts of video projects.
- Ability to lead smaller projects and guide them to completion.
- Flexibility to juggle last-minute work when necessary.
- Ability to perform production work, such as lighting, shooting interviews, and event b-roll.
- Work alongside Jackson Spalding account teams and media coaching teams in a helpful, professional manner.
- At ease presenting work to internal audiences and external clients for review.
- Be a Jackson Spalding ambassador at all times.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Office, Studio, Occasional location shoots
