JOB SUMMARY:  
 Prospect, identify and close new accounts in his/her target market utilizing the CountryWide HR/ CountryWide Staffing Solutions sales development process and reporting forms to expand existing and new client revenue opportunities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
 
Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly activity, revenue, and gross profit objectives
  • Ability to follow methodical and strategic approach to sales and business development

  • Develop, cultivate and penetrate territory by primarily bringing in new accounts supplemented by growing existing accounts. Target market is companies with 50 to 2000 employees

  • Research and identify potential new business leads. Identify the proper buying influence, correctly identify their service needs, the reasons they occur, and our solution to solve to solve their challenges. Prospect new clients by telemarketing, networking and cold calling
  • Follow and utilize CountryWide HR’s sales systems including Needs Assessment, Underwriting, Proposal and Contract Generation in prospecting and closing your target prospects
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities using CRM
  • Build and develop client relationships and referrals
  • Communicate effectively with inside sales team, operations, and other office personnel to ensure a consistent and effective delivery through the entire prospect and client lifecycle
  • Build an effective professional network by participating in organizations and events that foster these opportunities
  • Endeavor to grow personally and professionally by participating in industry and sales related seminars, workshops, and organizations
  • Be knowledgeable about inside office operations to contribute when in the best interest of the company.
  • Complete and submit all report requirements
  • Build proposals tailored specifically around the prospective client’s pain points
  • Closely manage prospective client sales pipeline and forecast


​ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Opportunities must be for positions that meet our target profile and market
  • Must maintain a Top 20 Prospect List that includes A, B and C Level Accounts as defined in the target market
  • Must follow CountryWide HR’s approval process
  • Must enter all sales activity in a CRM database (ClientSpace)
  • Must attend individual and weekly team sales meetings
  • Must meet weekly and monthly revenue and GP goals as defined by your VP of Sales  
Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a quota-driven, business-to-business sales environment (PEO and/or staffing specific preferred) with a proven track record in consistently meeting or exceeding sales plan

• A strong background in staffing, payroll, HR, professional services or previous experience within the staffing and PEO industry is preferred

• Experience in B2B selling

• Bachelor’s degree required or related work experience

• Experience working with a CRM, preferably ClientSpace

• Must be a closer

• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills with a high level of business acumen

• Must be able to manage multiple prospects at different stages in the sales cycle

• Results-oriented and money motivated

• Must be able to handle objections and rejection, and take feedback and adjust actions accordingly

• Must be used to performing at high activity levels

• Must understand and utilize consultative selling, experience in solution-based selling

• Able to interact with clients to handle all issues under pressure

• Able to travel, occasionally overnight

• Well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player

• Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image

• Able to use hunter mentality to research and qualify prospects based on defined criteria

• Experience developing lead sources through a variety of activities with a strong emphasis on cold calling
