Career Evolutions is searching for a R & D Product Manager for a growing international medical device company in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $115K + Bonus.
Job Title: R&DProduct Manager
Job Summary: You will investigate and develop strategic and tactical initiatives for new market segments on a global basis. You will conduct upstream market research to identify user needs, new product offerings and strategic fit within organization. You will prepare new segment market models projecting the direction and growth of the market, sales revenues, product requirements, expenses, and profit and loss. You will demonstrate leadership within R&D and Marketing departments, take an active role in day-to-day operations, and play a lead role in new market segment development.
Responsibilities:
Conduct ethnographic research and document observations of market segments
Translate observations into problem, population, outcome and user needs
Investigate and develop new strategic market segments to grow the business
Work with Engineers and Product & Marketing teams to develop solutions to unmet customer needs
Identify new markets through various methodologies
Conduct global upstream research for new growth opportunities for organization
Develop market models based on upstream research for new marketing segments with comprehensive product marketing plans including strategic, technical and financial components
Preparing Business Plans and Budget Administration
Recommend potential acquisitions targets
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and MBA required
4+ years of product marketing and R&D experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industries
Proven experience in upstream marketing and identifying new market segments globally
Strong strategic/visionary skills and ability to articulate vision of opportunities to the organization
Proven ability to build strong relationships and gaining credibility
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Forecasting and pricing experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
