Typical Duties will Include:
Be responsible for the database development and providing operational service as needed
Oversee Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) utilizing troubleshooting and native monitoring
Aid in the management and customization of SalesLogix
Various SQL development duties as the need arises
Report and ETL development by utilizing SSIS and SSRS
You will be responsible for working with data and generating reports for the business intelligence team
Apply appropriate troubleshooting solutions and resolve database issues on as needed basis
Requirements:
Minimum of six years working as a Software Engineer in a an IT setting, with a history of success in major company projects throughout the full life cycle of the project
At least five years’ of experience working as a SQL developer while performing various Database Analysts duties
Strong understanding of SalesLogix
A five year history of successfully working with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack in order to build, manage, and use a BI as a solution to an organizations needs
Ability to perform backups, restoration, and recovery models
Ability to successfully work with SQL, TSQL, and Stored Procedures
Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery in relation to MSSQL Server
SQL 2012 experience preferred, in depth SQL 2008R2 history required
Familiarity with how to maximize SQL Services
MVP, MCITP, and MCTS certification preferred
Clear written, verbal, and documentation skills a must
