Career Evolutions is searching for a Billing Manager for a fast-growing international technology company in Phoenix, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $75K + Bonus.

Job Title: Billing Manager

Job Summary: Reporting directly to the VP, Business Process Management you will be responsible for managing selected sales and finance activities for departments throughout the organisation. You will be responsible for sales orders processing, billing, revenues monitoring and financial analysis.

Responsibilities: 

  • Process sales orders according to contracts and/or customers PO’s, presales information and internal accounting guidelines
  • Process invoicing to customers according to contractual obligations or sales orders terms and conditions
  • Manage set top box integration project activities and royalties, including ordering, invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Manage maintenance activities on ordering, invoicing, revenue recognition, database compilation and warranty transfers to suppliers
  • Manage Projects revenue recognition (POC, T&M, Maintenance and Immediate) for all entities managed by Sales Execution team through ERP and ensure monthly crosschecks with accounting and Controlling department
  • Produce monthly KPI dashboards according to CFO requirements
  • Proactively communicate with regional sales administration units to align ongoing commercial activities and sales process; when required, provide training  
  • Provide support to Bid Office on complex deals, in particular in the presales phase and to regional offices upon execution by coordinating required activities with relevant internal units (Procurement and Accounting)
  • Support selected IT projects requiring Sales Execution’s guidance and act as key user on system analysis and design
  • Suggest improvements and simplifications on order-to-cash process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Finance
  • 3+ years of finance, billing, and customer service leadership experience
  • Successful track record of developing and delivering complex projects capabilities that have exceeded expectations
  • Proven experience in resource and people management
  • Ability to plan and execute at strategic and operational levels
  • Excellent customer service, analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Highly motivated, self-managed, and team oriented
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
