Description

The Transition Services Representative is responsible for supporting and facilitating a variety of employee and manager transactions and requests, including those relating to Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Procurement. The Transition Services Representative is responsible for handling confidential and sensitive employee information and is required to collaborate with a wide variety of internal staff to accomplish objectives, including employees, managers, and internal HR staff.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred

·         HRIS systems experience preferred

·         Minimum of one-year experience in a business setting

·         Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·         Proven ability to build successful relationships with individuals at all levels and collaborate as necessary to accomplish goals

·         Sound judgment, high integrity, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality

·         Strong customer service skills

·         General knowledge of Microsoft Office

 

Primary Job Functions:

1.Routing Requests and Information

  • Routing requests to the appropriate approver
  • Following up on prior employee and manager requests
  • Routing emails (e.g., compliance, leave information, etc) and other relevant information provided to the manager

2. Obtaining Approvals

  • Obtain timely approvals from the appropriate sources for processes such as pay changes, PTO, T&E, purchase orders, new requisitions, etc
  • Maintain proper written documentation of approvals for tracking, QA, and record retention purposes

3. Executing System Processes

  • Follow documented guidelines and steps for a range of varying processes
  • Ensuring proper documentation, information, and approvals have been provided
  • Complete system approvals/denials
  • Upload documents into electronic employee files as requested

4. Responding to Manager Requests

  • Respond to requests from managers for their direct reports’ HR data, such as employee profile, manager worksheet, performance history, PTO hours, etc

5. Maintaining Consistent and Accurate Tracking

  • Maintain proper documentation of requests, approvals, denials, and responses
  • Follow a consistent process for accurately tracking the current status of incoming requests

6.Other

  • Assists in facilitating other processes related to the transition as required
  • Filling in for other Transition Services representatives, as needed
