Jackson Spalding, a full-service marketing communications agency, is seeking a social media expert to join our team in Dallas. Successful candidates will have 6-7 years of experience in social media and content marketing client work in an agency setting.

The ideal candidate is creative, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, collaborative and would enjoy an entrepreneurial environment.

The company has three offices (Atlanta, Dallas, TX and Athens, GA), more than 100 team members and a client roster that includes The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, Chick-fil-A, Mattress Firm, Orkin, Toyota, Interstate Batteries, and many others. REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of agency experience in social/digital
  • Strong project management skills
  • Leadership potential and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of social media channels
  • Experience implementing successful social media for Fortune 500 brands and medium-sized businesses
  • Paid social media experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Writing and editing skills
  • Creative and strategic thinking strengths
  • Bachelor's degree (Journalism, Communications or Marketing a plus)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead social/content/digital projects as part of a large national client team, working closely with 4-5 others.
  • Make assignments, manage deadlines and present client-facing work.
  • Communicate recommendations to client team and manage client relationships.
  • Participate in strategy development and annual planning for integrated marketing communications tactics.
  • Contribute to measurement and analytics, making optimization recommendations.
  • Advance team and client knowledge of social/content/digital trends.
  • Provide internal training and coaching for account team members on social media strategy and execution to accelerate professional development.
