As the Head of Business Intelligence, you will use you unrivaled background in designing and implementing BI solutions to take the reins of what reporting and analytics will look like at an industry leading technology company. Working directly with the VP of Business Process Management, you will draw from your years of industry experience to aid in the development of the BI strategy and roadmap. As an essential leader, you will work with, as well as develop and grow, teams of Architects, Developers, and QA Engineers who will set the stage to provide business critical data required for company growth.
Typical Duties will Include:
Mentor and guide the team responsible for creating and implementing BI solutions
Work with cross-functional and interdepartmental teams to understand the reporting and analytical needs of the business
Create proof of concepts to demonstrate the feasibility of innovative tools
In addition to the creating and implementing these tools, provide support and administration for presently used solutions
Develop and support processes necessary to pull and report critical data required for key business growth
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Data Science, Engineering, or similar – Masters degree preferred
History of designing successful analytical solutions to be used by all aspects of the business
A strong understanding of sophisticated data problems, as well as a demonstrated ability to overcome them
Strong ability to write SQL Queries, as well as experience with MS SQL Server
Prior experience with Microsoft BI tools, i.e. PowerBI, SSRS, SSAS, Azure Analytics, etc.
Domain knowledge / experience working with such ERP systems as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite. Dynamics AX a plus
Domain knowledge / experience working with CRM systems, i.e. Salesforce, SalesLogix
Hands-on experience with numerous Big Data technologies, i.e. Spark, MongoDB, Hadoop
5+ years of experience leading teams in technical environments
