WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design, develop, and support Cloud9’s native WebRTC implementation for financial trading software application. Responsible for designs that bridge WebRTC to trading telephone line interfaces. Perform technology evaluation and systems design. Gauge execution of feasibility projects and deliver production products. Provide technical leadership for assigned projects, modify the WebRTC native stack to satisfy the feature requirements Cloud9 product, work with architecture and desktop user interface teams, and work with the Cloud9 team to define and understand requirements and deliver against those requirements in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Experience

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a directly related field plus six (6) years of communications applications experience in Linux and Windows environments. Experience must include:

  • Four (4) years of experience developing telephony features with emphasis on VoIP telephony and communication skills
  • SIP, SIP stacks, SDP, STUN/TURN, and IP and networking protocols and architectures
  • Design knowledge of proper software architecture
  • C++ and object-oriented design
  • Programming on Linux and Windows platforms
  • Research, architecture design, development, and delivery of Native WebRTC integrations on Windows clients and Linux servers, and interoperability solutions between native WebRTC and SIP telecom circuits
  • Working with SIP gateway vendors for interfacing to traditional trading phone lines
  • Will accept a Master’s degree and four (4) years of described experience.
