Career Evolutions is searching for a Tax Associate for a fast-growing public accounting firm in Chandler, AZ. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $55K + Bonus and an excellent benefits package.
Job Title: Tax Associate
Job Summary: You are proactive and self-motivated Tax professional who enjoys a challenging work environment and is looking for professional development and the opportunity to work on complex client engagements.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and Review of individual, corporate, partnership, and other income tax returns
Supervise, train and mentor associates on tax process
Tax research and preparation of tax research memos
Acquire a working knowledge of the client’s business
Proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
1+ years of experience in public accounting
Experience using tax systems and billing software
Proficient in tax and accounting research
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills
