About this company:
We are a Supply Chain Management organization that delivers custom solutions tailored to meet the customer’s needs.  Currently, we are seeking a responsible individual with two (2) years supervisory experience preferably in a Union environment for second shift operations.
 
Essential duties and responsibilities:
 

• Ensuring that objectives are met in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity
• Assign and track individual orders from production to shipment
• Train and direct production workers in daily order requirements
• Participate in coaching, counseling and discipline of Union and Temporary employees
• Able to stand, walk entire shift. Occasional bending and light lifting required

 
Other requirements:

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision
• Must have the ability to work flexible shifts, overtime, and holidays (when necessary)
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Occasional travel between facilities
• Must be a non-smoker

AS400 helpful, but not required
