Career Evolutions is looking for a Systems Administrator for a technology company in Phoenix. Full time, direct hire role with compensation of up to $95k.
You are a passionate for IT infrastructure. You will be part of a global, highly skilled product organization. You will support the company's system and learn their inner workings. The main goal is to support the company's platform and technologies for consistent deployment, and operational optimization. You will mainly work on a payment system that supports high volume global logistics transactions.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or another related field
At least 7 years of experience working for a technology or SaaS company
Experience in Linux, Puppet, Python, Kafka, Storm Zookeeper and Elastic
Strong network engineering skills and have worked extensively with Cisco
Familiar with cloud computing and virtualization
Experience in AWS
Hands on experience at storage and physical hardware management, from performing maintenance to troubleshooting to configuration to upgrades
Self-starter and independent but can still work well with multi-functional teams
Experience in working with internal and external customers, setting up and implementing policies and designing tools for maximum productivity and security
Proactive about monitoring and perfecting the systems behind the scenes
