Career Evolutions is looking for a Data Operations Analyst for a marketing company in Phoenix. Full time, direct hire role with compensation of up to $80k.
You will assist in the definition and execution of the master data management strategy and assist with the continuous improvement of all data management processes as it pertains to the company's customer and organization master data and related account intelligence. You will maintain and improve our master data management processes and capabilities. You will work closely with business stakeholders and members of the BI and Data Operations teams to support data cleansing efforts, data enrichment, list fulfillment, system configuration and testing cycles. You will also be responsible for gathering business requirements, business process engineering efforts, data profiling, designing and implementing business solutions to support Master Data initiatives towards better Data Quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Working with Data Operations management, document requirements to define standards and rules to ensure master data is compliant with business strategy, contractual and governance policies and quality requirements
Closely interact with the business and provide master data subject matter expertise to various project teams as it relates to master data management and governance
Maintain, monitor, and verify the accuracy of the master data in the applicable systems
Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities within the data management processes in the applicable systems
Identify missing or incorrect master data standards and define system requirements or process changes to address the problems
Provide subject matter expert system support for master data management tools and governance
Lead requirements, process changes and system configuration changes for incorporating new sources of data into the MDM systems and related applications
Make master data management software configuration changes to support business processes
Work with Data Operations team and IT Developers to validate that the software solution will satisfy the business needs
Conduct functional testing of master data management application releases, and provide the initial business support to the Data Operations team when moved to production to ensure they understand new features, configuration changes and process changes that impact data handling and data quality
Create and deliver user documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts
Provide mentorship to Data Operations team on Master Data management best practices
Provide user administration and training on applicable Master Data products
Assist with Data Operations list fulfillment for complex sales or peak sales cycles to deliver clean, de-duped, organized, targeted lists
Assist with process improvements for improving the data services processes and handling of data for list fulfillment
Work with Data Operations team to support Client Success and Operations on troubleshooting or improving campaign data to meet or exceed client expectations
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
3+ years of experience with Data Duality or Master Data Management systems such as IBM, Talend, Trillium/Tiboc, Informatica
2+ years of experience in Business Process (Re)-Engineering efforts with Master Data domain focus required
2+ years of experience configuring systems to meet business objectives
Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL preferred to perform data analysis
