As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving product initiatives from inception to successful delivery and market adoption. In this role you will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members within the organization to increase customer acquisition, engagement, market reach and lifetime value of our products. You will be responsible for owning the product roadmap and informing product direction and execution to cross-functional teams.
You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
Typical Duties Will Include:
Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Gather, define and document market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. Perform competitive analysis, author product requirement documents and prioritize features (set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals)
Work with Development/Engineering and other departments to define and execute on product plans through rollout and ongoing product maintenance
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage features and products (monitor and measure launched products and create a loop that feeds results back into product development
Work with business development to analyze potential partner relationships for the product
Communicate development status and document progress toward milestones
Prioritize and sequence product initiatives against a mandate
Perform market research and analysis
Requirements:
6+ years of high tech experience with at least +5 years of Product management/marketing experience
POS system and retail domain expertise
Experience managing complete Product life cycle from inception, launch to End of Life
Excellent teamwork skills including written and verbal communication skills
