Title: Senior Accountant
Job Summary: You will be a valuable member of the Accounting team responsible for performing general accounting activities including account reconciliation process, month-end close activities, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, monthly and quarterly journal entries, and audits. You will work in a team environment that deploys accounting policies, streamlines processes, complies with internal controls, and takes responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the accounting information. You will gather, analyze, interpret, prepare and reconcile complex financial information to support the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a multi-operational environment
Strong understanding and application of GAAP
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) and Access skills
Advanced Great Plains skills
Detailed oriented and ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
