Career Evolutions is searching for an SEO Strategist for a fast-growing marketing company in Phoenix. Compensation is up to $50K + full benefits.
Job Title: SEO Strategist
Job Summary: You are a motivated Search Engine Optimization Specialist with proven experience in the SEO and Content Marketing space. You are responsible for day-to-day SEO execution, strategizing, driving performance, and ensuring client success. You are responsible for keyword research, topic development, writing and editing, ranking analysis and more.
Responsibilities:
Understand client’s short and long term company goals. Develop strategic roadmaps to meet those goals
Analyze backlinks, determine quality links and create link building strategies that follow SEO best practices
Communicate SEO strategies and goals to internal teams, including: Account Managers, Paid Strategists, and Social Media
Outline content creation plans to assist SEO keyword goals.
Generate site content and optimize videos, images, etc.
Analyze and monitor site and page performance for keywords.
Gather and analyze competitor intelligence.
Assist in implementation of emerging advanced SEO tactics.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ year of SEO experience
Solid understand of SEO principles and Google's algorithm
Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and experience using industry tools
Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Excel
Comfortable with HTML, Javascript, and CSS
Mandatory knowledge of on-page optimization for WordPress, Drupal, Shopify and other content management systems
Ability to work effectively across an organization including development of internal processes
