The Data Services Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the big data analytics platform which will serve the needs of all Company product units. As member of the CIO Office, he/she is responsible to operate, maintain and evolve our corporate Data Platform according to the needs of data scientists, developers, and business analysts from the various product units.
Responsibilities
Setup, implementation, configuration and maintenance of our big data infrastructure (“Corporate Data Platform”).
Act as the technical point of contact towards data scientists and business analyst, regarding operational aspects of our Corporate Data Platform.
Requirements
Strong communication skills (written/spoken);
Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and service oriented skills, as well as sense of ownership and accountability;
Ability to focus on critical business issues and demonstrate flexibility to make progress in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities;
Ability to benchmark systems, analyze system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them;
Ability to document use cases, solutions and recommendations;
