Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the planning, execution and monitoring of client SEO campaigns
Reviewing and analyzing client sites for areas of improvement
Develop link building strategies in coordination with client SEO goals
Monitor and evaluate search results and content marketing performance across multiple channels
Participate in business development efforts through research, estimation, organic strategy development and presentations
Work with our Data & Analytics team to prepare detailed and thoughtful reporting and recommendations
Train and mentor junior team members of the SEO department, oversee a team of 2-5 direct reports
Work with our QA team to set standards for quality SEO for our clients
Collaborate with content, UX and development teams to oversee execution of strategic online customer acquisition plans for clients designed to maximize volume and conversion
Ensure timely completion of client deliverables including, but not limited to: SEO Audit, On-page optimization, Schema markup, Authority analysis and recommendations, Competitive analysis, Keyword research and recommendations, Structural optimizations, Client implementations, when required, Creative link building plans including link reclamation activities, directory listings, and local search optimization
Participate in business development efforts through research, estimation, organic strategy development and presentations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent relevant work experience required
5+ years of working experience in SEO, preferably in agency environment
Passion for learning the latest technologies and techniques
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of HTML required
Google Analytics certified preferred
Familiarity with A/B testing, multivariate testing and landing page optimization techniques
Experience working with CMS such as WordPress required
