Typical Duties will Include:
Work within open sourced based CMS platforms to a design and execute web projects
Be responsible for the monitoring, documentation, and proper testing of code
Ensure that the proper measures are taken to troubleshoot and examine problems in the code and propose possible resolution methods
Oversee the creation of WordPress plugins and themes
Work closely with the development team and be responsible for the development and implementation of code for unique and diverse web projects
Take complete ownership for code produced for assigned projects, only releasing when satisfied that the code is without error
Requirements:
Minimum of one year experience working with PHP, HTML, CSS as well as experience on team that was dealing with sophisticated web projects
At least one year of professional work experience with WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla strongly desired
Professional experience with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Node, Ajax, JSON, CSS3 required
A strong working understand of Bootstrap, Foundation, jQuery, and Responsive Design
Git or Version Control familiarity
LAMP stack experience
An established track record of writing proper and reliable ADA-compliant code
A strong knowledge of general web security protocols and procedures
Clear written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work cross-functionally with interdepartmental teams
An ability to quickly familiarize yourself with a new setting and team, as well as an ability to work independently towards common goals
A strong analytical mind with a keen eye for solving problems
