PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Experienced management professional with demonstrated skills in account and program management, with the ability to build strong customer relationships while maintaining focus on cost, price, commercial targets, and program timing.  

This position will: 
 Be accountable and responsible to manage the customer relationship, customer strategy, costs, pricing and maintaining commercial targets. Additionally, the account manager manages the customer scorecard, customer invoicing, monitors and assists with customer accounts receivable, SAP maintenance. 
 Establish strong customer relationships – primary customers include the OEM Purchasing, Program Management, Engineering and Quality departments. 
 Single point of contact to customer for commercial issues. Responsible for implementation and communication of action plans to meet the OEM’s cascaded objectives.  Lead development, management, and confirmation of customer requirements including Statement of Work and Design Change Requests. Communicate to customer through customer warning/impact letters when customer related decisions jeopardize ability to deliver to project objectives (Project Scope Management) 
 Ensure project changes meet profitability targets established during gate 2 program commitment targets (Change Management) 
 Support quoting activities. 
 Bill all project tooling in less than 30 days past PPAP. 
 Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely collection of cash for all customer invoices.   
 Manage program timing deliverables 
 Oversee and manage cross functional team members to ensure successful completion of program milestones and requirements 
 Be accountable and responsible to lead global project teams to meet or exceed project objectives and customer deliverables in relation to: quality, profitability, cost, timing, and resource planning. Additionally manage project scope, risk, communication, and reporting activities from project inception through launch. 
 Train, develop and mentor less experienced team members in account management skills.  

YEARS EXPERIENCE:  5+ years’ experience with previous OEM and sales experience  

DEGREE STRONGLY PREFERRED: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business Administration or Finance.   

DESIRED COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:   
• Ability to function in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and handle multiple priorities • Strong organizational skills and business acumen, including experience with Global Purchasing • Experience leading and managing a cross-functional team, ideally an international crossfunctional team • Recognized for building and maintaining long term customer strategy and growth • Strong strategic experience with developing long range vision/plan for solutions. • Experience interfacing with product development and customer is required, including demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations 
• Ability to review, understand and convert functional requirements into valid technical specifications and documentation • Customer management experience required
