Responsibilities:
Design, develop, code, test, document, and support the core software
Develop custom plugins and work with the QA Lead to ensure risk is mitigated
Work with the Engineers to meet unique customer needs
Write great documentation and provide ample “testability”.
Develop code based on requirements documents, including development of use cases and test plans
Work collaboratively with and support the needs of other teams and organizations to achieve product development goals
Communicate constantly, usefully, and precisely
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
At least 10 years’ experience working as Software Engineer
At least 7 years’ experience in production level software development using C++ on Linux/Unix environment
At least 1 year professional experience with Qt (ideally version 5.x, but would consider 4.x)
Some experience in Linux system administration
Experience with software revision control system, ideally GIT
Comfortable working with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
Comfortable with the basic command line environment using standard Linux C++, shell script development and editing tools
Must be able to present sample works preferably those where Qt is involved
