Career Evolutions is seeking out a Senior Software Developer at an exciting and growing healthcare company in the Phoenix area. The role will be a fulltime contract position with a pay rate of up to $60 per hour.
Job Summary: You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality applications to both internal and external customers based on the provided conditions. You will ensure that the quality standards are not compromised in spite of timescales and price restrictions. You will incorporate 3rd party applications and other necessary components for maximum efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Work on problems of a wide scope and high complexity where examining situations or data necessitates a review of multiple identifiable factors.
Work with customers and business systems analyst in translating the business needs into technical processes. Help in planning the implementation and impact of the processes
Overview system performance and tune programming as needed
Secure web portal software development
Document designs and codes accurately to share knowledge with other members of the team
Be involved in system/regression testing and creation of test plans/cases when necessary
Collaborate with customer in developing functional requirements
Create and edit specifications gathered when necessary
Review test plans to ensure no errors have been missed. Assist in formal quality assurance testing when necessary
Create detailed schedules and estimates to assist in planning projects
Assist in the analysis of requirements to classify software capabilities
Offer end user support as necessary to resolve production issues
Deliver performance metrics on web portal utilization, availability and responsiveness
Job Qualifications
In-depth familiarity with intranet and internet web-based applications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from a traditional University. Master's Degree desired.
At least 3 years of experience in development of desktop applications and web-based applications
At least 5 years of experience working with .Net, C#, ASP.Net (WebForm and MVC), SQL Server and other Microsoft technologies like ADO.Net, Entity Framework, WCF, TFS (Work, Source and Build controls)
Solid database ability including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and database design in MS-SQL database
Telerik Devtools fluency is desired
Healthcare claims and processing and utilization management familiarity strongly preferred
Experience in Open Source software library and design patterns
