Strategic Connections is currently accepting applications for an Audio Video Technician to work in Raleigh, NC. The shift for this position is Full Time; Monday through Friday, starting time is 7:30am with overtime available. This project is a new construction site, so the candidate should posses experience working with cable in a new construction environment. Techs will have basic knowledge of commercial cable/wire pulling, cabling wire closets, jacks, ladders, etc. The Audio Video Technician will install various cable that includes twisted pair cable, coax, CAT 5/6, single-mode fiber optic cable, and multi-mode fiber optic cable (not limited to).Cable installation includes knowledge of placement, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:- 1 year of experience with Audio Video COMMERCIAL cabling, terminating, testing, and labeling CAT 5/6 cables
- Experience with installing jacks, speakers, flat panel displays, etc...
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH FIBER IS A MUST! (Splicing, pulling, termination, etc.)
- Must own PPE Equipment (to take with you to job site)
- Must be able to work Full time, plus Overtime if needed
- Must be able to pass a National Background Check, Fingerprint Scan, and Drug Screening
- Have High School Diploma or GED
