Career Evolutions is searching for a Corporate Controller for a fast growing technology company in Scottsdale, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $150,000 + Bonus.

Job Title: Corporate Controller

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the operations and personnel of the accounting department
  • Initiate, prepare, and report financial transactions of the company, including: revenue, costs, assets, liabilities, equity, etc.
  • Support CFO in special projects as needed
  • Ensure the accurate and adequate generation and maintenance of accounting records and preparation of financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Serve as the internal lead for annual financial audits, and other audit activity
  • Communicate status and financial condition by gathering, interpreting, and reporting data
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
  • Create, document, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure that all internal controls are adequate and protect company assets
  • Provide guidance on financial decisions by monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Work closely with Tax Manager to ensure tax compliance, record tax provisions, and to minimize the future tax obligations of the company
  • Liaise with Director FP&A to oversee order processing and review approval of order submission in accordance with company policy
 
 Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5-10 years in Public Accounting
  • Must have an active CPA license
  • 5+ years’ experience in a technology related company
  • Strong GAAP knowledge with U.S. and international accounting experience
  • Experience with Intacct, GP, and MAS500 strongly preferred
  • Exceptional knowledge of software accounting rules, including VSOE
