Job Title: Sales Development Consultant
 
Job Summary:  This position reports to the Head of Sales Support and the perfect candidate will have a strong mix of Sales, Technical and Strategic thinking abilities. This person will have natural leadership capabilities and demonstrate outstanding communication and presentation skills to audiences of all levels of the organization. If you are a team player, customer-oriented and a self-motivated business sales support guru then you are the perfect candidate!

Responsibilities
  • Act as Ambassador for Sales Support & SSO to the sales regions
  • Define and execute business action plans to identify new sales opportunities and win deals
  • Coach the Account Management team to create and update key account plans
  • Offer support to Sales Team on how to promote and sell new products and solutions
  • Lead cross-region upselling efforts globally
  • Identify mid-term opportunities for various sales regions
  • Research and effectively communicate relevant information on competitors to Sales Team
  • Serve as Sales Representative in new product definition reviews as needed
  • Work closely alongside other departments (such as Finance, Marketing, SSO, etc.) to ensure alignment of strategy, actions and good communication occurs between these departments and the sales regions
  • Define and communicate the USPs and value propositions of technology solutions  
 
 Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales and/or Business Development within technology industry
  • Knowledge of consultative selling and negotiation techniques extremely desirable
  • Sales management experience on a global-scale required
  • Solid communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the digital TV market including current players on the digital TV scene and the industry trends
  • Proven experience in business development environment leading presales/sales process (Proof-of-Concept, presentations, RFP’s/RFI) from qualification to deal closure
  • English is required and French is desirable; other languages are a plus
