Career Evolutions is searching for an Assistant Supervisor for a real estate company headquartered in Scottsdale AZ. Full-time/direct-hire opportunity with salary rate $90,000/annual.
Job Title: Assistant Supervisor
Job Summary: You will assist Structural Superintendent with all aspects of construction from ground breaking to enclosure. You will also help direct superintendents and subcontractors, ensuring timelines, quality, regulatory and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to read and comprehend blue prints and shop drawings
Assume project from drywall to final punch out/walk through
Order and coordinate all finish products (including doors, frames, hardware, counter tops, vanity tops, cabinets, etc.)
Capable of scheduling and coordinating work from drywall to final paint in all units and common areas
Works with onsite staff of Superintendents as a team
Assists with coordination of Subcontractors work
Responsible for quality control of trades
Ensures construction quality methods are maintained and followed
Verifies that Certificate of Occupancies are received and logged
Interface with governing officials to inspect and approve work
Assists in enforcing onsite safety programs
Coordinate with MP&E Superintendent during rough-in with cabinet layout and buyer changes
Conducts weekly coordination meetings with all finish trades
Interface with Architect and Subcontractors to process RFI’s
Create and complete work punch list
Monitor and ensure buyer changes are incorporated into building
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in construction Related Field
Mid to high-rise/multi-family residential construction experience preferred
Experience constructing at least a $25M project start to finish
Fast track construction experience
Proven ability to generate results in a fast paced environment
Previous exposure to successful project completion, within specs, time allotment and budget
