Career Evolutions is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer for a technology company in Vancouver. Full time role with flexible pay.
Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Job Summary: You will pave the future in enhancing the business and the effectivity the company plays in global e-commerce. You will streamline many of the business processes that run the company. You will write server side logic that will interface with the company's user interface that exposes the platform. You will provide solutions for technical solutions that will challenge your knowledge in optimization, large-scale computing, distributed systems, web applications, scalability among others. Your solutions will impact the business worldwide while working with different teams both technical and non-technical.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in software development
Experience in object-oriented development, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis
At least 6 years of experience in software development using Java or C#
Experience in distributed software system that has been launched into production
Experience in working with server technologies (ie SpringMVC, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, etc)
Experience in database-oriented distribute systems
Experience in Agile-Scrum development methodology
Working knowledge in software engineering best practices for full life cycle software development
Experience in taking a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
