Hospital Medical Device Sales; Territory open due to a promotion!  Well known medical sales leader and strong growth medical device company.  This huge benefit company is seeking a B2B Sales Person (outside "business to business" sales) OR an experienced Medical Sales Representative that has sold into the hospital or alternate care marketplace! This is a company that prides itself with excellent products that are patient need focused and a wonderful company culture that supports work life balance for its employees. They are looking for a proven sales professional with high energy, who knows how to relationship sell to support the high current market penetration. The right candidate will have a MINIMUM of 3 to 5 years of acute care or alternate care medical disposable sales OR medical device sales OR strong B2B outside sales person with high energy and DRIVE to continue the momentum of this territory!
  
 
Position Location and Coverage
  • Position based out of St. Louis, MO
  • Territory Covers St. Louis west to Columbia (does not include Columbia), South to MO Border and N. to Moline, IL (Quad-Cities)
  • 25% to 40% Travel (2 to 3 overnights per month or more)
Compensation:
  • Base 65K to 75K Base, dependent on candidates background
  • Commission at plan: 48K uncapped with a Guaranteed 26K commission amount the first year!
  • 115K low to 130K high end
  • Issued a COMPANY CAR with all maintenance and ALL related expenses covered!

CAREER TIPS: 

  

Required Skills

*4 year degree a must (no exceptions)
*Minimum 3 to 5 years of successful Acute Care Medical Sales experience OR 5 years solid outside B2B (Business to Business Sales).
*Successful selling and management of an outside sales territory with relationship selling.
*Lives in desired home base of territory
*Resume reflects Job Stability vs. multiple jobs (job hopping).


Optional Skills

*A plus, but not required; understands how to sell a nurse driven product within a hospital setting.
*A plus, but not required; understand IDN, GPO and Hospital Evaluation committee selling.
