Career Evolutions is looking for a Technical Support Specialist for a professional services company in Scottsdale. Full time or part-time role with pay up to $40k.
Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
Job Summary: You will be responsible for both internal and external facing responsibilities, primarily involved with functions related to the Managed Services for the customers. You will be a critical point of contact between the client and the customers where you will be handling overnight helpdesk duties. You will monitor, diagnose and fix/escalate any issues that might interrupt the client's operations. Additional functions also include network troubleshooting and system configuration as well as other duties that might arise when necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor, diagnose and resolve any customer issues pertaining to their IT environment
Provide end user support as needed. This could be through email or over the phone
Document internal and customer interactions and results through our systems
Handle any afterhours service requests in a help desk environment
Escalate issues to appropriate personnel as necessary
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of experience in hardware and software support.
Well versed with Windows Server
Experience in IT technologies ideally with Networking and VMWare
Experience in working with both internal and external customers
Good documentation skills with solid written grammar
Accurately follow written technical work instructions
