POSITION: Network Operations Engineer
POSITION OVERVIEW: Network engineers will provide operational support of the advanced services network, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining it along the way.
POSITION DUTIES:- Administering and configuring Cisco routers/switches, which includes implementing firmware changes, OS releases and other software upgrades
- Troubleshooting circuit problems
- Announcements for maintenance activities or network outages
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:- 2 years in a network operations environment in support of customer networks
- 2 years in a technical support role interacting with contacts via phone and ticketing system
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and various switching hardware/platforms
- configuration, management, and operations
