Our Client has established a security systems environment using the IBM Security Suite (formerly IBM Tivoli Security).
The role of the member of the security systems group is to provide technical systems support for managing the IBM ITIM, IBM ITAM, IBM Federated IdentityManager, IBM Directory Server and the IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator products.
In addition to having skills in managing security systems (IBM branded preferred); the candidate must have a broad range of Unix administration skills.
The candidate must also be able to communicate his/her ideas effectively to other technical members in the team. The candidate must be a team player and a self-starter.
Responsibilities
- Systems administration support for IBM Security Environment (ITIM/ITAM/TFIM/WebSEAL/ITDI) ONLY
- Work with application teams to design, integrate and support their applications working with ITAM and other security technologies
- Perform upgrades and apply patches to IBM Security software
- Monitor the environment for effective operations
- Required Skills

- Expert in Tivoli Identity Manager administration, design and support.
- Expert in Tivoli Access Manager administration, design and support.
- More than 2 years of experience with Tivoli Directory Server – Capacity to install from scratch, setup replication, manage issues, develop complex queries and reports.
- More than 2 years of experience with Tivoli Directory Integrator - Capacity to write complicated assembly lines from scratch and maintain an existing code base.
– More than 2 years or more in technical systems administration of Unix environments - This means you need to be comfortable with UNIX and can easily ssh into servers, use vi and other common UNIX tools.
- More than 2 years of infrastructure design and deployment experience - Capacity to create Visio diagrams, written documentation or presentations describing your work or ideas.
- Experience with web application design and a strong understanding of the HTTP protocol and reverse proxy systems - Capacity to troubleshoot issues with WebSEAL and back-end applications. You need a strong understanding of how a reverse proxy works and HTTP in order to do this.
- Strong Javascript development skills - This means you should have no problem writing custom operations in ITIM and maintaining an existing javascript code base in ITIM
- Basic SQL and reporting skills - Capacity to write simple SQL queries and work with reporting software to generate and manage reports.
- Must be able to type 50 words a minute (or faster)
- Experience with J2EE, C# or other language development
- Knowledge of Portuguese language required
- Good English spoken and written required
