Our client, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance sensor solutions is in search of a:

Required tasks and responsibilities:

• Development of characterization setups/labs for automotive products and modules
• Development of industrial testing, handling and calibration methodologies automotive products on wafer and package level
• Development of characterization, and test concepts and solutions to ensure testability in cooperation with design, customers and suppliers from a very early design stage
• Lead technical communication to suppliers and together with procurement find most appropriate commercially available solutions for (new) automotive products 
• Collaborate with the suppliers on improvements for characterization and test methodologies and equipment
• Lead (sub) projects and organize the team to successfully complete assigned tasks: planning of project schedules, quotations for target test times and estimations of test costs and efforts
• Industrialization of the test solutions and transfer to mass production with clearly-defined stability and repeatability criteria
  • Definition of test traceability matrix, link to specification requirements, test coverage
  • Guiding/interfacing with product engineering
• Generate and sign-off high-quality documentation like characterization and test system architecture, equipment buy-in specifications, test plans and test reports.
• Efficient, effective and timely reporting to stakeholders to maintain commitments
• Acts as representative to suppliers and customers
• Submit innovative patent proposals

Required education and experience

• Advanced University Degree (MSc or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Physics or related fields
• More than 10 years of work experience in semiconductor industry
• At least 3 years of experience in characterization of semiconductor devices (lab measurement and data analysis experience)
• Experience in industrial test and calibration of semiconductor devices (from feasibility to mass production) is seen as asset
• Leadership track-record of projects or workpackages, in particular in the domain of characterization, test and calibration of semiconductor components
• Excellent understanding of semiconductor device physics
• Excellent understanding of industrial test and handling equipment used in semiconductor industry
• Programing skills with Matlab and Labview
• Knowledge in DataPower or Spotfire is an asset
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
