Our client is a multinational group partner for the automotive sector. Albelissa has been entrusted by our customer to find a CAD Designer. The context the designer will operate in is dynamic and target oriented, as well as multifunctional, having daily interactions with clients and Production.
 

Main responsibilities:

·         Design of plastic components (e.g. air intake systems, fuel and urea tanks, oil sumps) to meet system specifications and operational requirements

·         Define the correct tolerances on plastic parts for the automotive sector, according to tolerances standards and processes capability

·         Prepare technical documentation (3D models and 2D drafting) using CAD

·         Prepare bill of materials

·         Manage revision cycles of 3D models and 2D drawings according to Change management system

Main activities:

·         Concept development and engineering design of plastic components

·         Assemblies and specific parts design using CAD

·         Create technical documentation (like 2D drafting) using CAD

·         Tolerance Stack Analysis

Experience:

·         Experience in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting of automotive components

·         Experience in revision cycles of 3D models and 2D drawings management according to Change management system

·         Experience in Bill of Materials creation and modification

·         Knowledge of main plastics production process technologies (injection molding, blow molding, rotational molding) will be a plus

·         2/3 years experience in this role will be a plus
