Western Technologies Inc., a consulting engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and special inspection services throughout the southwest currently has full-time, part-time and temporary seasonal employment opportunities available for this upcoming summer season in both our Durango and Farmington offices. Learn how to preform construction materials testing and inspections. Duties will include inspection, sampling and testing of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt and other similar materials in the field and in the laboratory. For those with interest in geotechnical and/or environmental engineering, these positions may lead to opportunities to learn and help out in those departments as well. Good written communication and math skills as well as a strong attention to detail is required. Must be a team player, have a good driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
