The hospice nurse evaluates the patient's comprehensive health care needs in the home or facility environment and implements an appropriate plan according to those needs utilizing the physician and the hospice interdisciplinary team. The hospice nurse utilizes critical thinking skills related to the care of the hospice patient and coordinates the physician ordered plan of care. The hospice nurse provides assessments and supports patients and families during end of life care.

Requirements :

• Associates in Nursing from an accredited school
• Bachelors degree preferred
• At least one year of nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance

Hours : 

3 days a week, 24 hours, with call. Hours will be 9:30am to 6:00pm (M-W-F).
