CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION:  LEAPROS has partnered with a well-established and highly successful financial services company located in Los Angeles.  This position will be a critical member of the technology team, monitoring and maintaining the enterprise database environment.

POSITION TITLE: SQL DBA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and administer enterprise production SQL Servers in a large scale high performance environment
  • Ensure HA/DR of database services
  • Build and administer clustered server environments utilizing SAN backend
  • Monitor and maintain daily ETL jobs and batch processes
  • Manage database backups, recovery procedures and testing, and data replication processes

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2-3 year experience as SQL Server DBA in a large scale environment
  • Expert administrative knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2
  • Strong T-SQL skills, review T-SQL code and procedures
  • Experience with other programming languages such as C#, ASP, .NET, Power Shell a strong plus
