CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION:  F.A.I.T.H. Resources has been hired by a fast growing, professional accounting services firm in their quest to identify and select a talented Help Desk Support Specialist to help optimize the performance of critical end-user operations and key business processes.

POSITION TITLE:  Help Desk Support Specialist, Level 1

POSITION SUMMARY: This is an opportunity for a level 1, detailed oriented support specialist to apply their computer knowledge in a fast paced, procedure driven environment and contribute directly to the company’s knowledge base and process improvement! Core areas of contribution include resolving a wide range of Help Desk and support issues including software and application support, networking issues, provisioning, and hands-on software and hardware installation. Will additionally utilize their excellent customer service skills and the Help Desk ticketing system to resolve issues in a first line responder capacity via face-to-face situations, teleconference, and Remote Desktop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maintain a strong level of knowledge of the company’s supported products and services
  • Periodically review and update the company Knowledge Base
  • Review and suggest recommended procedural modifications
  • Work hand-in-hand with the IT Department to maintain accurate knowledge of the system and related applications and hardware
  • Consistently and reliably document interactions in the company Ticketing System
  • Procedurally escalate Help Desk issues to the appropriate team member
  • Communicate with and determine problem resolution with application or system vendors
  • Install software, troubleshoot network components, and deploy/upgrade computer hardware and operating systems
  • Setup and deploy new hire hardware, software, and disk images
  • Perform other essential Tier 1 duties with Sharepoint, and Office365

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years experience supporting multiple executives 
  • Intermediate to Advanced level skill set in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to travel to various Southern California based offices for meetings, training, or support
  • Be able to work in an on-call and overtime capacity when needed throughout the busy season
