Title: Investment Analyst

Location: Radnor, PA

This position works under regular supervision and is a key investment analyst position reporting directly to the Assistant Treasurer. The individual will support the management of the firm's $5.5B general account investment portfolio, including reporting, portfolio compliance, performance measurement, income forecasting, risk budgeting, manager oversight, manager due diligence, investment strategy, portfolio construction, markets research and analysis, peer analysis, cash and treasury management and other strategic projects. 

As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:
  • Management of the core fixed income investment portfolio.
  • Diligence, execution, and management of the alternative investment portfolio.
  • Support other ad hoc analysis and duties pertaining to the investment portfolio.
  • Analysis, reporting and support of treasury, capital, and treasury activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Major in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant investment-related experience.
  • Support the senior members of the Investment team in the management of the core investment portfolio.
  • Aid in the preparation of regular monthly reports for the Management Investment Committee and quarterly reports for the Board Risk Committee.
  • Leverage Excel, Aladdin Risk, Clearwater Analytics, Bloomberg, and other tools to generate ad-hoc reporting on investment portfolio exposures and risks.
  • Monitor portfolio compliance and performance measurement reporting.
  • Provide reporting on the alternatives investment portfolio / strategy, including performance, risk, capital calls, fund updates, etc.
  • Support the investment data infrastructure and systems.
  • Deliver reports to aid in peer review and strategic asset allocation processes.
  • Assist in the diligence of potential new asset managers and new asset classes for consideration.
  • Conduct ongoing markets research and analysis to generate insights on portfolio strategy.
  • Support senior members of the Treasury team in the management of banking operations, cash flow forecasting, and capital management.
  • Actively monitor the NACHA Control Total and Positive Pay processes for all operational bank accounts and remedy any potential exceptions.
  • Produce banking and credit card reports and reconcile account variances when necessary.
  • Frequently screen all banking account activity and alert senior staff to any irregular activity
  • Highly motivated individual with ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to maintain high attention to detail, effectively manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of financial markets, fixed income expertise a plus
  • Investment management experience preferred (asset manager / asset owner)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Investment management software skills a plus (Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, Factset, Burgiss, Clearwater Analytics, Charles River, SNL, etc.)
  • Private markets / alternatives investment experience.
