InnoTECH Staffing is looking to hire a Lead / Director, Continuous Improvement to establish and lead continuous improvement processes and operations excellence. The company is a leader in automation / robotics for the life science industry and located in Beverly, MA.
This position reports to the COO.


We are seeking a highly competent and dynamic individual to join us as a Director of Continuous Improvement. This role requires a variety of skills such as project design, engineering, and leadership to ensure performance and process development. The Director of Continuous Improvement will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across all aspects of our Manufacturing and Business Processes using Lean Six Sigma principals, and will be involved in planning, scheduling and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Engineering, 10 years of experience with CI, operations excellence, have lean six sigma black belt, and come in and focus on operations and make them more efficient with less defects, labor savings and material savings, and implement lean practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive continuous process improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals to increase efficiency and improve quality
  • Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with all departments to train, lead, and mentor using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Projects including process observations, identification of waste, cycle time reduction and create and execute strategies to increase overall productivity on the production floor and in other business process areas
  • Evaluating and prioritizing potential improvements based on gains and required effort
  • Establish criteria for the project’s success and prepare a sound statement of constraints and limiting factors
  • Implement robust key performance indicators and reporting systems to track progress, measure the success of improvement initiatives and report results to Senor Leadership

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • 10-12 years focused on continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
  • Lean Sigma Black Belt
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
  • Proven experience as an effective leader, able to engage and motivate employees at all levels
  • Experience identifying gaps in processes and strategizing to create scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and able to collaborate well with peers, subordinates, and senior leadership
  • Proven capability to multitask and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Tools (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to design and develop metrics that measure performance, and monitor results of process improvements
  • Must be able to extract data, create excel workbooks, charts, etc. and work with analytics team in development of Power BI tools
