Primary Responsibilities:As our Principal Electrical Engineer, you will:

Lead Electrical Hardware Design: Take charge of designing, developing, integrating, and testing both capital systems and single-use disposable products.

Innovate: Translate stakeholder requirements into system and technical requirements, collaborating closely with Systems Engineering to pioneer groundbreaking solutions.

Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work hand-in-hand with Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineers to ensure seamless integration of all components.

Ensure Compliance: Design, test, and evaluate electronic designs with a keen focus on industry standards, particularly IEC 60601 Electrical Safety Standards.

Mitigate Risks: Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical designs and the overall system, contributing to Top-Down Risk Assessment and dFMEAs.

Documentation Excellence: Produce high-quality design documentation, rationales for design decisions, and theory of operation documents.

Verification and Testing: Conduct verification testing, develop and validate test methods and fixtures, and lead verification plans for the electrical system.

Continuous Improvement: Support design improvements for better reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and reduced cost.
Qualifications:-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: 10 years hands-on experience in new product research and development, ideally in a regulated industry such as Medical Devices, Automotive, Military, or Aerospace.

Full Product Lifecycle: Proven experience with the full product lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.

Regulated Industries: Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, and/or medical device industries preferred.

Innovative Mindset: Demonstrated innovative thinking through prior vocational experience (Co-Ops, Internships, Fellowships, etc.).
