Senior Financial Analyst
Summary
Conexess Group is aiding a large manufacturing client in their search for a Senior Financial Analyst in one of their Nashville offices. This is an immediate contract to hire/full time employment need and this person will be asked to be in the office 2 weeks each month. The Senior Financial Analyst will be pivotal to organizational continuous improvement and will demonstrate a proven ability to collect and distill complex financial information into clear and actionable management-level reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivering and ensuring all month end close and forecasting tasks are completed in a timely manner, including assisting management chain with creation of executive summaries and ongoing reporting packages
• Drive assigned business partnership relationships through standard monthly cadence, strategic initiatives, and kaizen opportunities
• Leading cross functional teams and driving Transactional Process Improvements within finance and accounting organization, as well as supporting company-wide efforts
• Provide dotted line leadership to Jr Finance Analyst in monthly close process, group projects, and initiatives
• Support forecasting and analysis with FP&A Manager to drive accuracy of monthly forecasting cycle
• Provide leadership in assigned business areas of responsibility for annual budgeting
• Leverage the business system toolkit to drive continuous improvement by instituting daily management, standard work, and problem-solving strategies
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Relationships
This position reports to the FP&A Manager. The incumbent will interface with all functional departments. A high degree of team participation required.

Excellent analytical skills and ability to present results in a clear concise manner to leadership team, meets established performance objectives and deadlines, supports organization and departments as needed, keen eye for innovation and process improvement simplification, and supports organizational VBS goals and objectives.

Skills/Required Qualifications
Background and Skill
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Graduate level degree or advance certification preferred (Eg, MBA)
• Minimum 4-7 years relevant experience
• Financial experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Hands on style with ability to dig into detail
• Familiarity with GAAP, and able to partner with accounting team to drive internal control, solve problems, and communicating accounting needs to business partners in non-technical terms
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Advanced excel skills
• Desire to work in growth environment
