Description:
The Server and Systems Administrator will be part of the operations team that addresses server, application and user issues for the Advisory Channel. Typical duties include administering servers, granting certain access to user accounts and responding to break and fix system issues by investigating and resolving system problems.
Provide timely Windows Server administrative support to application administrators and end users. Typical duties include:

- Assist with systems build and configuration to support architecture of new systems
- Facilitating access requests for resources
- Creating and securing certain user accounts
- Investigating, troubleshooting and fixing server availability and performance issues
- Monitoring and maintaining request and incident queues
- Performing validation testing
- Collaborate with global teams to identify and implement process improvement

Additional Insight: 


Must have at least 5+ years of working experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (required) and HCL BigFix (optional but preferable), including agent and patch remediation processes.
Must have experience in developing and improving patch management processes, security vulnerability analysis and remediation, and remediation dependency mapping and prioritization.
Strong attention to detail and patching job verification is required.
Candidate should be proactive to achieve challenging compliance targets and have strong communication skills to work with server owners and other internal customers.
Strong technical writing skills are a plus.
Candidate should be comfortable in preparing systems for patching activities and be willing to work flexible hours in order to accommodate patching windows.
Familiar with risk acceptance processes within the context of patch management and vulnerability remediation.
Strong background with Windows Server 2016 or newer OSes is a must.
PowerShell or other scripting automation skills is a plus.
Familiarity with SQL Server queries and reports, in addition to IIS, is a plus.
Big Fix administration and fixlet creation familiarity is a plus.
Familiarity with basic Linux OS and Nessus scans/reports is also a plus.
Experience working with government processes and regulations is a plus.
 

US Citizenship required due to US DOD regulations.
