IT Service Desk Specialist – Tier 1 Support
Conexess Group is aiding a local healthcare client in their search for an IT Service Desk Specialist. This is an immediate need and will start off as a contract role. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering first-level service and support of end- user service requests and computing issues.
- Primary IT Support via Phone, Chat, and/or Ticket portal.
- Provision & IT Equipment, accounts and ship them, work incoming tickets.
- Maintains ITIL-based best practices for enterprise-wide service desk processes.
- Capability to support application and use of systems, tools, and processes within the scope of the service desk.
- Ticketing System being used: Manage Engine Service Desk plus
- Maintains a working knowledge of various applications and system integration and can escalate appropriately to engage Level 2/3 teams for support.
Qualifications for this position:
· Associated or bachelor’s degree in Business or IT related field (Equivalent combination of related experience, training, and education may be considered)
· Relevant IT disciplines or certificates
· Knowledge of common ticketing tools, Service Desk Plus, and ITIL Framework
· Minimum 1 year experience in technical support.
