Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Solution Architect in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:- Socialize USM-IS technical strategy and governance procedures
- Coach team leads on how to construct high quality solution designs
- Provide architectural direction that align with technology strategy
- Assist teams on how to provide more accurate estimates
- valuate proposed solutions for quality, feasibility, consistency
- Ensure that solution designs fit within financial targets
- Help manage stakeholder relationships at all levels (business, technical, and regulatory)
- Continuously evaluate industry standards, best practices, and technology trends and apply those to support and enhance the goals of the US Medical business
- Support continuous improvement of solution architecture best practices by participating in a peer group of senior USM-IS solution architects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum of 10+ Years of recent, direct experience implementing high volume multi-tier transactional systems including cloud, web applications, workflow, and web services
- Strong ability to design and implement AWS cloud environments with expert knowledge on the following: EKS Clusters, VPC environments, Security groups, Lambda configuration, API gateway, S3, SQS, and SNS
- Strong experience designing and implementing REST based micro-service APIs
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Terraform and Jenkins
- Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and Flux
- Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: Kafka, Istio, Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, or OpenShift
- Demonstrated ability to embrace and clarify vague and ambiguous initiatives.
- Familiarity with producing conceptual prototypes demonstrate concepts and capabilities
- Expert knowledge of software development lifecycle, including financial management, agile software development methodologies
