Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a JavaScript Developer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high quality software
• Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code
• Simplify and improve existing application code ensuring high unit test coverage
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
• Collaborate with the team members, product owners, user experience team, and other engineers to define, design, and publish new features
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards
• Provide mentoring to junior engineers
Qualifications:
• Proficient with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2+ or React (Angular preferred)
• 3+ years of software development experience with a successful track record of shipping production ready software
• Experience designing REST APIs following best practices
• Experience with at least one back-end JavaScript application framework
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL database technologies
• Experience with continuous integration
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working with AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, DocumentDB
• Experience with Scrum/SAFe Agile Framework
• Experience using monorepo toolkits such as NX or Lerna
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
