Under little supervision, provides end-user support for a broad range of desktop and mobile computer hardware and software. Software support includes both proprietary and vendor software solutions for the advertising/marketing industry.  Hardware support includes PC and MAC systems, Color and B/W printers, telecommunication, and audiovisual equipment.  Main responsibility would be in the Windows environment, secondary responsibility would be in the Apple environment and network administration. This role will serve as the first point of contact for all computer support issues. 

  • Answer and prioritize incoming calls, voice mail and email messages from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, telecommunication and audio visual equipment
  • Respond to all helpdesk calls/requests in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, phone, and audio visual equipment issues
  • Identify, research, isolate and resolve routine user problems and escalate complex issues to appropriate IT personnel
  • Setup new machines with standard builds, restore standard builds on other machines
  • Complete hardware repairs on all computer peripherals
  • Support A/V in conference rooms
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Implementation of corporate standards, policies and procedures
  • Unpack, configure, move, lift, and installation of technology infrastructure, hardware, telecommunication, and audio visual equipment
  • Periodically prepare status reports and document procedures for peers, management, and end-users.
Experience & Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer related field preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Windows and be capable of demonstrating that knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Apple products.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to manage projects, manage multiple tasks, and work within a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills (both verbally and in writing).
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Must be organized and detailed oriented.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize, schedule, and report progress.
Physical, Travel & Other Requirements (if applicable):
List any physical requirements needed to complete duties (i.e.): 
  • Must be able to lift and move equipment as necessary up to approximately fifty (50) pounds
List working conditions (i.e.):
  • Monday thru Fridays, 8:30am – 5:00pm, plus frequent/unexpected overtime.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
