Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for an SDET in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Duties: As a Software Development Engineer in Test you will;- Support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery
- Understand agile principles and methodologies and the pressures of a regular, short release cycle
- Participate in (or supports) agile ceremonies
- Work with PO and the team to understand the business value and break down the feature as stories
- Review user stories / requirements to identify ambiguities
- Develop and review test strategy, test plans, and test scripts
- Create and execute test cases based on test strategy
- Participate in exploratory software testing as a precursor to scripted test development
- Have industry-leading technical abilities that enable you to improve product quality
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and effective for your audience.
- Collaborate across teams and departments to lead in best practices Identify defects and write reproducible bug reports
- Perform defect analysis and suggest improvements Identify risks and help mitigate
- 5+ years’ experience testing Web applications with a Backend and Frontend
- 3+ years of experience writing and maintaining complex test automation
- 3+ suites
- API automation testing
- Experience testing REST
- Experience writing and maintaining complex test automation suites
- Experience with open-source test automation tools (preferred Cypress or PyTest)
- Required to demonstrate typescript knowledge and applications (LDB NOTES: how to navigate, how it compiles, how to add tags, how to troubleshoot errors) Automation
- Experience with unit test automation frameworks (Jest or similar tools)
- Experience with open-source JavaScript test automation tools (preferred Cypress or similar JavaScript automation tools)
- Experience with industry-standard version control tools (Git, GitHub)
- Experience integrating automated testing processes with CI tools (such as Gitlab CI or Jenkins)
- API testing (Postman or similar)
- Automation driven to improve maintainability and testability Analytical and excels at problem-solving
- Experience with defect tracking tool (JIRA) and test management software (TestRail)
- Proficiency in UI testing
- Proficient in writing and executing database queries
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of Single Page applications with React stack is nice to have
- Understanding of Single Page applications with Typescript
- Experience with AWS lambdas and testing lambdas is nice to have
- Have familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM is nice to have
- Have familiarity with Mono Repo development practices
